Ok here's the low down on how we run GRB and I'll try to cover everybody's role and responsibilities.

Let's start out with the items that are easily forgotten in preparing for GRB.
1. Ice Cream - Increase run speed, this helps gather mobs quicker and group them together to take down easier. It also helps higher levels who have to run to lower level area's. So this should be on everybody's shopping list and an item in your inventory for GRB.
2. POTS - We usually have 1 priest/group - The priests MAIN function is to keep the tank dispelled and healed, first and foremost! That said, if you are not the tank and/or are out of range of the priest, they WILL NOT try to find you. Hence, you will need a POT to heal yourself or find a safe place to sit.
3. GEAR - make sure you're not using low level gear, these mobs are the same as INSTANCE MOBS! They will HURT you if you're not adequately geared. Our guild helps people get gear, we have gear in the GWH and we have Lapis. You can use your guild points to purchase them from the GWH. There are also people who have gear that is for Loaning to guildies. That list is found in the Guild Points section on the forums. I also believe there are also posts on the forums where ppl advertise gear that they have to loan.
4. NOS, Remedies, etc - For those who have AP, use these. For those who don't have AP and can't get AP, then don't worry about it, just make sure your appropriately geared.

Now we'll go over the pre-defined groups and what they do:
1. ThundarLove's group - assigned to Group (5) - He takes out the lvl 60+ bosses. Because he takes out Willow as well, once he kills Willow, anybody who helps him and enters that area CANNOT return to the 31-60 area.
2. ThundarLove and Insane-Cupid - After killing the 60+ bosses go to the 16-30 area. Insane-Cupid takes out the Archers in the archer area of the 16-30 area. ThundarLove goes to the portal entrance to the 16-30 area and kills the mobs there.
3. Lick.My.Candy's group - assigned to group (2) - Takes out the (2) lvl 30 bosses. Afterwards Lick.My.Candy and Goditha_HM kills the mobs between where Insane-Cupid and ThundarLove are killing MOBS.
4. Everybody else in this group besides Lick.My.Candy and Goditha_HM should find an area and start killing.
4. VEL & Teresa's group - VEL is in Lick.My.Candy's original group and Teresa is with ThundarLove's group. After the bosses are down, they go on alt toons and kill mobs in the 31-60 area and form group 3.
5. Lick.My.Candy and Goditha_HM - will stay in group 2 and kill the mobs between where Insane-Cupid and ThundarLove are killing mobs.
6. PATTON's Group - assigned to group (1) - Will take out the lvl 15 boss and then kill the 1-15 area mobs.

If you are in a group and are getting bored or are not being able to cast or attack much, and/or if there are several of you in this situation, form your own group and kill mobs. REMEMBER THE IDEA IS TO KILL AS MANY MOBS AS POSSIBLE, AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. You can also ask to be moved to another group to form your own group. Since I usually have some type of leadership role, I will move you from 1 group to another upon request!

IF YOU DIE - DO NOT RELEASE! POST IN PARTY CHAT IMMEDIATELY SO WE CAN GET A PRIEST TO YOU! If you're UM and the 60+ bosses are not down, then you won't be able to be rez'd by the priest as they will be working on the 60+ boss. If you rez, or are UM and don't receive a rez in time, you will be teleported to the GMO and unable to re-enter GRB. This doesn't mean you can't come back into the GRB on another toon and rejoin the UNION. The UNION is always OPEN and AUTO-JOIN!

Now for the GRB layout. There is a separate post I created that has a link to a MAP of GRB. BOOKMARK THIS LINK! Know the map! If you have questions about the map, ASK!
To navigate from the 16-30 area to the 1-15 area: it's really very simple, follow the mountain on the right and hug it all the way on the right until you reach the 1-15 area. Stay up the mountain as far as you can to avoid the archers and aggro.

To get from the 31-60 area to the 16-30 - Follow ThundarLove. If you're coming in on a toon after another one of your toons has died and you had to rez without a priest, refer to the map which is on a separate post and is mentioned below in order to navigate to the area you want to get to.

Which toon should you bring to GRB?
1. The one that is best geared for it. If you have a 50+ toon, you will be assigned to ThundarLove's group. If you have a 16-30, you will either be assigned to Lick.My.Candy's group or Patton's group.
2. We need priests for the bosses. Lick.My.Candy needs 3 priests and Patton could use 1-2. For those of you who have priests, bring them. Once the bosses are down, you can switch to another toon if you want to.
3. Archers lvl 30+ are needed to take out the archers in the 16-30 area.
4. If you have a lvl 50+ toon and do not go all the way to fight the boss Willow, you can fight and join VEL's group in the 31-60 area.

The 1-15 area is broken up into 3 different MOB groups. One by the portal at the bottom of the hill.
One up the hill on the left and one up the hill on the right. Usually we will have 1 group for the bottom of the hill, this MOB spawn is smaller than the spawns on the top of the hill.
Then 1 group to do both of the MOB spawns on the top of the hill. They will take out the right side and then go to the left side, wash, rinse and repeat.

DO NOT ENCROACH ON ANOTHER GROUPS MOBS! YOU WILL GET YELLED AT FOR THIS GUARANTEED! So take your group, find a MOB spawn group and kill it. DO NOT JUST STAND AROUND! IF YOU'RE 50+ and are in either the 1-15 or the 16-30, you DO NOT NEED PRIEST BUFFS TO KILL THE MOBS! SO DON"T WASTE TIME TRYING TO FIND A PRIEST FOR THEIR BUFFS!! YOU'RE JUST WASTING VALUABLE TIME and costing us POINTS!

I AM PROVIDING TRAINING WHICH WILL ENCOMPASS ALL OF THE ABOVE AND MORE. PLEASE TRY TO ATTEND ONE OF THE TRAINING SESSIONS. I WILL BE OFFERING THEM 11/14/2010 - 11/19/2010. Hopefully, I will even be able to provide some insight, shortcuts, etc... even for those who attend regularly. Wink
