An up dated guide Ases archer guide

Seen all of them and wants to make a archer but it is harder to do than the words say it is xD

Archer are weak in early lvls :/ but they more then make it up in later lvls
My archer was fun to play (i perfer range/caster classes anyway) but i deleted her as i needed a slot for my um . Plan on remaking her as um though ^^

it has been implied a lot on the forums that luc is the "ultimate"
stat. as though it covers everything sufficiently (damage, accuracy and
critical hits). however, if one seriously plays archer to the end you
will realize its just not true. i have said before that 1-50 and 50-60
are two different games. after level 50 pure luc will start to miss a
LOT cuz you have no dex (which does help you hit even if your luc is
really high). and your damage will suffer as well cuz your base ATK
will be too low with no STR.

now, depending on your mode and
gear you may not be able to pull off what i consider to be the proper
luc build. i personally dont like struggling, i like to be more than
powerful enough to quickly and easily kill mobs, and at higher levels
that is much trickier. you need like 200 dex to minimize your missing,
500 luc to always crit and get good crit multiplier, and at least 700
ATK or your damage will be too low. you also NEED the elemental
advantage to get the extra 50% dmg. its a hefty task that requires a
ton of gold and probably UM, but that is for after lvl 50 so most HMs
and certainly NMs will stop before it gets so tough.

I'm rambling again
anyway if you are stopping before level 50 than no you dont really need
STR, and if you are NM you cant afford it anyway, you need too much luc
and dont have the points. if you are going after lvl 50 and you want it
to be easy and be able to solo, you will need str as well as dex in
addition to your high luc. and you may not believe me, or may not want
to beleive me, but you will realize it when you go to pando. even UM
without the proper balanced build will struggle.

luc is not the
end all be all stat that it has been made out to be. STR is still your
main source of base ATK and dex is still needed (at high level) in
order to minimize misses. so again, is STR needed for a luc build
archer? if you are going past level 50 YES YES YES it is. Mobs at that
level have 500+ defense so you need ATK to be high enough to overcome
that. a pure luc build would probably not even break 1000 damage on
greens with no STR and therefore low base ATK.

However, in NM
you simply dont have enough stats to get what you need to be successful
solo in Pando and the new maps (past lvl 50).

Fatal venom shot that creates power damage on target. This skill is a powerful DOT attack, within period of time it creates a powerful damage over time every cycle of each cycle doubles the previous damage. Limited to some monsters.
