Dual Lapis

Linking Chance
All Duals lapis have the same Linking Chance like ordinary level 4 lapises: 16% at full bless. They do not supposed to break gear in case of failure (at least with the same low chance like level 4 lapises)

Drop location
Duals drop in the new maps dino and desert 1, not two (two drops the almost useless accessory lapis). The dinos in jungle drop craft, mystic, and wise. The spiders/scorpions in desert1 drop safe, shrewd, and fortune.

linking to
They usually go with any gear or weapon, except Dual Safe2 and Dual Fortune2 which go with weapon only while increasing attack as second stat.

Dual Safe , REC+9, +
~ Lapis1 -> phys. defence +12
~ Lapis2 -> max. attack +11
~ Lapis3 -> mag. resistance +36
~ Lapis4 -> SP+175

Dual Craft , STR+9, +
~ Lapis1 -> DEX+8
~ Lapis2 -> phys. defense +12
~ Lapis3 -> HP+175
~ Lapis4 -> SP+175

Dual Fortune , LUC+9, +
~ Lapis1 -> STR+8
~ Lapis2 -> attack+11 (min+max attack!)
~ Lapis3 -> SP+175
~ Lapis4 -> mag. resistance +36

Dual Wise , WIS+9, +
~ Lapis1 -> REC+8
~ Lapis2 -> MP+195
~ Lapis3 -> phys. defense +12
~ Lapis4 -> mag. resistance +36

Dual Mystic , INT+9, +
~ Lapis1 -> mag. resistance +36 (?)
~ Lapis2 -> HP+175 (?)
~ Lapis3 -> REC+8
~ Lapis4 -> MP+195

Dual Shrewd , DEX+9, +
~ Lapis1 -> phys. defense +12
~ Lapis2 -> LUC+8
~ Lapis3 -> SP+175
~ Lapis4 -> HP+175

Understanding Lapis linking and probability.

** These notes were derrived using a similar method to that of counting cards in black jack, if it link +1 points, if it doesnt 0 points. Numbers were then calculated into more accurate percentages.**

Results from personal notes on over 100 lapis.

sonic2 (/w op hammer)

link = 26.7%
break = 73.3%

lv5

link = 7.4%
break = 92.6%

lv4 and dual

link = 13.4%
break = 86.6%

lv3

link = 30.2%
break = 69.8%

Computerised games such as video games typically use a complex mathematical formula
called a congruential iteration to produce “random” events. The formula uses
three very large numbers, called A, B and M, which are used over and over again,
and a seed value that changes each time. The formula provides complexity, while the
seed value provides uncertainty. This system works as follows:

The seed number is usually obtained from the computer’s clock. ( in most cases a server )
This seed number is multiplied by a very large number (A).
The result of Step 2 is then added to another large number (B).
The result of Step 3 is then divided by a third very large prime number (M).
The remainder, or “what is left over” after Step 4 is the first “random” number.
This “random” number is usually converted into a range that is convenient for the
program, such as a number ranging from 1 to 32 (which would correspond to whether
or not a lapis breaks or links). This remainder is also used as the seed for the next
cycle. The cycle is repeated as many times as needed

Heres what i thought of. You all get a better idea let me know k? ^_^

this...
WISE: gives wis Lv1+3/Lv2+5/Lv3+7/Lv4+10/Lv5+20
CRAFT: gives str Lv1+3/Lv2+5/Lv3+7/Lv4+10/lv5 str+20
Still looks a bit cramped imho...

or this
SAFE: gives rec
Lv1 +3
Lv2 +5
Lv3 +7
Lv4 +10
Lv5 +20

MYSTIC: gives int
Lv1 +3
Lv2 +5
Lv3 +7
