Before you even start playing do you understand how stat points work? Evasion, accuracy, critical damage, HP, and attack speed?
DEX --it gives you SP and increases your chance to hit. Well theres more. Dex
is ratio based. Meaning the percentage difference between your opponent
and yourself is the modus operandi. Example : I have 400 dex. My
opponent has 200 dex. Based on the fact that I have twice as much dex
gives me a ratio of 2-1 = 50 percent evasion. HOWEVER. BUFFS play a
huge role in calculating that percentege. CONCENTRATION provides you
with +21% to hit. However this is confusing and has been tested.
Concentration does not give you 21 percent chance to hit... what it
does it increase your chance to hit by 21 percent. Big difference.
Having almost a 1-4 chance to hit no matter what the opponents dex is
different than increasing your ratio by 21 percent of your existing dex
which the latter is the correct formula. And translated it means it
increases your DEX by 21 percent. However this buff only affects
accuracy and does not boost your dex to provide better evasion.
Berserker 3- the racial buff that all human characters have is entirely different
skill. It does not boost dex/wis attributes it provides an 8 percent
bonus to chance of hit period. Meaning no matter what the opponents
dex/wis ratio compared to yours, you have an 8 percent chance to hit no
matter what their buffs, dex, special skills are in use. A seemingly
useless skill -- but its one of the BEST buffs a fighter has.
Luc - Luc is a damage multiplier. 1 luc = .2%increased chance of critical attack or 5 luc = 1%
For a fighter its simply this simple math solution:
Minimum Crit: 1.5([Attack x Element] - Defense)
Maximum Crit: 1.5([Attack x Element] - Defense) + 1.5(Luc)
Why
are all of your critical attacks so different? Because of the scale of
the critical attack can vary based on the how the random calculation is
handled. A minimum crit is calculated without adding the luc damage.
However thats the lowest you'll crit for. It can range from 1.5([Attack
x Element] - Defense) + 0,1,1.1,1.2, 1.3, 1.4, and max crit 1.5 times
your luc. So potentially your critical attacks can vary to 5 different
damages.
Luc also creates whats called critical evasion. 20 luc
= 1 percent critical attack evasion. Luc like dex is ratio based.
Example : You have 400 luc and the skill bash. Giving you 95 percent
chance to crit. Your opponent has 500 luc giving them 25 percent
critical evasion. You now only have a 50 percent chance to crit.
Attack SpeedWhy is attack speed so important? Default attack speed being fast
attack speed for duals swords. Very fast increases your damage output
by 21 percent. Extremely fast increases that number to 29 percent.
However
when fighting in pvp, percentages can be confusing when you must take
into account of cycle speeds of skills themselves. Why is shortened
cycle speeds more important? The shorter your skill animations the
faster you can trigger skills --- that increased speed increases your
damage output by a greater scale. Based on the default animation speeds
of deadly strike and say enhance windspin. An extremly fast player can
trigger deadly strike and enhancewindspin before an opponent with fast
attack can finish the deadly strike animation.
For the sake of
arguement -- we will use whole numbers. Opponent 1 has fast attack
speed, 14000 HP, 1400 attack power, wearing elemental armor and using
elemental weapons. Opponent 2 has identical stats however extremely
fast attack speed.
Both attack each other at the same time with
deadly strike and enhance windspin using the correct elementals weapons
to the correct corresponding armor.
Opponent one deals 3x 2800 attacks. = total damage 8400
Opponent 2 deals 2x 2800 damage and 3100x3 ews. total of 17700
This
is more than DOUBLE the damage output. Opponent 2 has killed opponent 1
and has survived -- allowing him to pot back to full health and
continue fighting. Opponent 2 was killed before he could even use more
than 1 skill.
Kiting--- Believe it or not, fighters are one of the squishiest classes in
the game. Aside from retarded rec builds, HP is our only tank. We have
zero magic resistence and dexterity is our only evasion bonus. But when
considering that archers have big coup - which ignores our dex and that
rangers have extremely high dex and evasion/accuracy skills you begin
to wonder how we survive anyway? How do we survive and how do we kill?
Massive amounts of damage in short periods of time coupled with the
fact that dispel potions are stackable. Kiting..........
With eagle eye --- a fighter can neutralize a hunter and kill him before he can be killed.
against rangers...... we can kite all day and wait for our skills to recharge and hurt them with deadly/ews.
Kiting
is essential. Understanding how kiting is also understanding when to
attack and not to attack. When stingered ---- the best attack is to
counter with enhance windspin...... why? It does up to 300-600 more
damage per attack than deadly strike and because the way the skill is
setup ------ it will miss unless the target is .5 seconds stationary.
Meaning it WILL NOT HIT MOVING TARGETS OR WILL NOT HIT WHEN YOU
YOURSELF ARE MOVING UNLESS STOPPED for .5 seconds. Because this skill
is hard to successfully hit moving targets ------ this is the best
opportunity to use this skill.
Hot Key Your MACROS-- Hot keys, hot keys, hotkeys. I can always tell when im fighting
people who use their mouse as compared to people who use hotkeys. Why?
Because they stupidly follow you and stop moving. This is whats call
the "catch up and insuffiencet range bug". You click on an enemy .. you
click on hellord ----- you follow him around till you get almost close
enough to trigger the attack -- you stop short and it says insuffiecent
range. I laugh when I watch warriors do this with eraser --- you can
tell whos using hotkeys and who is using the mouse clicks.
Hotkey
the most important skills ------- stinger,
deadly, enhancewindspin, windspin, dual weapon storm, regina power,
hellord, demon hushing, health pot, holy water, untouchable pot, and
aracane/etain pots. all of these keys are hotkeyed near my WASD portion
of my keyboard allowing me to trigger all keyes with my left hand (so I
can also watch porn and use my right).
If you are demon hushing say a pagan, and suddenly you get deadly
striked (not stingered because you werent moving). Move MOVE MOVE.
They'll most likely follow up with EWS. You can move out of their way
and dodge the ews---- demon hush them twice during their EWS animation
stinger them and deadly strike them back -- follow up with an EWS of
your own and they are dead.
You get stingered by a stronger
opponent--- instead of deadly striking back -- ews him, stinger, and
run. Why? You inflict more damage than his deadly (unless he has
extremely fast attack in which case you might be dead or close to dead)
and you can now run for 30 seconds +3 more seconds in running distance
between you and your opponent before his stinger is up.
Damage
before REGINA. Damage your target FIRST. Never use the skill on a
target with full HP. Make sure they have sustained 13 percent damage so
your regina is the killing blow. Nothing sucks more than wasting regina
power on a target who uses arcane/etain pots and pots back to full HP
and reginas your dumb ass and gets the kill on you.
Stat point distrubtion and build concept Builds
based according to your total amount of strength, dex, luc. (Oh yeah wake
the fuck up people. the "white" stat points and the "yellow" stat
points. Add them up...... stop saying 232+405 or 500+202, learn to
fucking add and know your total stat point distribution. Buy a fucking
calculator)
1000 Stat points = 300 dex 700 str. : why? You dont
have enough stat points for a successful hybrid build. Level up, get
some legends, lapis up some lvl 5's.
1100 stat points = 200luc
300 dex 600 str : This is a ghetto hybrid build. Not enough luc to
really work well. You probably do more damage with more str, but this
total amount of stat points is common for people around 51-55 and
havent finished lapising lvl 5's.
1200 stat points =
600str/300dex/300luc : this is the entry level hybrid build. Typical
build for a fully lapised legend set/ with lvl 5's, and (unlapised)
best amulet/rings.
1300 stat points = 600str/400dex/300 luc :
Improved entry level hybrid build -- usually means you have a 5 slot
helm or better along with full legend, max stat lvl 5's, and best
amulet rings.
1400 stat points = 700str/400dex/300 luc : This is
the standard pvp hybrid build -- 5 slot helm, max stat legends and some
goddess, possible rank 5 and above, max stat lvl 5's posisble best
amulet/ accessories lapised.
1500 stat points =
800str/400dex/300 luc : intermediate hybrid build - usually full
goddess, best accesories lapised, 5 slot helm, rank 6-7.
1600 stat points 900str/400dex/300 luc: Full goddess, linked acc, 5 slot helm, rank 8+ , intro lvl 6 lapis
1700 stat points 1000str/400dex/300luc Full goddess, linked acc, 5 slot helm, rank 10+, medium lvl 6 lapis
Why
are all my builds maxed at around 400 dex/300 luc? Because for larger
scale pvp -- power builds are more effective than dex builds.......
why? Because its harder to kill a 15k HP warrior w/ arcane pots and 2-3
oracles healing him already with 1600 attack power. Its fuck of a lot
harder to kill him with 1100 attack power. Dex builds suck versus rec
pagans/oracles, gaurdians, and yes even hunters because of big coup.
Dex builds are only good in low number pvp fights. Exceptional at 1on1
pvp versus non dex warriors/fighters but horrible against other classes.
I Hope This Will Help
